Misiones African Museum of Lyon is a museum very interesting and unfortunately quite unknown to the local population. Collecting objects collected by the Missionary Fathers from the first half of the nineteenth century, mostly in countries of West Africa (Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin), he organized its three floors by theme: life daily in the first, second life social and religious life in the third.

We did our annual visit this afternoon with my students in fifth. I was fortunate to come across a group of students interested and attentive, asking questions relevant to a young guide particularly the fact that it presented. One drawback: the windows are often located in front of windows that interfere with their reflections on the glass of the showcase.

After a quiet return to school by subway, I could finally enjoy my first moments of vacation, quietly smoking a cigarette with a colleague that I only cross in ordinary times and happy to note that our close friendship, despite the difficult events that she lives with family and who I see at least, has not faded.
